ABOUT::

I created this event in hopes to bring together artists' whose art isn't quite so refined yet. I've seen many of these Secret Santa and Secret Valentines events around and all I ever see are the more well known and great artists out there. So I'm here in hopes to bring together the more unknown community and to help them refine their skills and bring in constructive criticism.

^{RULES AND EXPECTATIONS::}

The Rules::

Do not, under any circumstances, criticize any participants art in any negative way.
The art must be posted on time or you will not be invited back.
If you have any concerns or questions about your assigned persons request(s) you can contact them through me.
You MUST watch this page for the course of this event so I know who is participating easily. (If you wish to participate in this year's Secret Santa you can stay watching the page.)
You must post your wishlist to your journal and have at least two wishes. They CAN be fan art requests but it's not recommended.
All entries and requests must be PG-13.
Your gift can NOT be just a sketch. The character(s) must have colour.
Please provide clear references and descriptions to characters.
Do not reveal your assignment on any website or in any way until the end date.
Switches cannot be guaranteed.
All work must be completely your own. No bases, etc. But underlying textures are fine.

Expectations::

Please remember that most of the artist I have asked to join aren't as refined as others so don't expect amazing art but remember that this is a good learning experience for many people and that they put their hearts into it.
Some people can't draw super detailed things and there are some things that people won't draw, so I encourage having many choices for the characters that your gifter will get to choose from.
If you are uncomfortable drawing any combination of BL/GL/Hetero couples then please reconsider participating.

Schedule::

Jan. 20th:: All participants are entered.
Jan. 22nd:: All participants have put up their wishlists in a journal and must keep it there until the event is over.
Jan. 22nd:: Assignments are sent out.
Jan. 22nd - Feb. 13th:: Drawing period!
Feb. 13th-20th:: You MUST post your gifts and note the full resolution version to who you were assigned. And you MUST notify us so we can get you checked off.
